Founded in 2010 in New York City, Start Small Think Big provides free legal and financial services to small business owners, from contract review and lease negotiations to financial forecasting and cash flow management. Our flexible, virtual model ensures entrepreneurs can access expert support when they need it most.

Marathon Commitment & Requirements
To run with Start Small Think Big in the 2026 TCS New York City Marathon, runners must:
- Commit to raising a minimum of $3,000
- Complete NYRR race registration using our unique charity registration link (after selection)
- Meet all NYRR race deadlines and requirements
The $3,000 fundraising minimum must be met by the agreed-upon deadline. Runners who do not meet the fundraising minimum by the deadline will be responsible for contributing the remaining balance.
The race takes place on Sunday, November 1, 2026.
What You’ll Receive as a Team Member

How Selection Works
Entries are limited.
Interested runners must complete our interest form. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, with consideration given to fundraising readiness and alignment with our mission.
Selected runners will receive our official NYRR registration link to confirm their spot.
