ABOUT THE ENTREPRENEUR

Life-long Harlem resident and chocolate lover Jessica grew up in an anti-sugar home with one exception — chocolate. She became obsessed with the high-quality dark chocolate her mother would buy and she began to attend the chocolate show every year to learn about chocolate from around the world. In high school, Jessica participated in a program called Expanding the Walls at the Studio Museum of Harlem where she learned photography through the lens of the famed Harlem Renaissance photographer James VanDerZee. It was during this time she learned the true legacy and history of Harlem and fell in love. The class, culture and elegance of Harlem was, and still is, so beautiful to her. Years later and here she is finally stepping out and doing what was always in her heart. Jessica has worked with Start Small Think Big to understand intellectual property law, and develop the appropriate corporate structure to function as the core of her rapidly growing business.
