NYS Pandemic Small Business Recovery Grant

The New York State COVID-19 Pandemic Small Business Recovery Grant Program was created to provide flexible grant assistance to currently viable small businesses, micro-businesses and for-profit independent arts and cultural organizations in the State of New York who have experienced economic hardship due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

  1. COMPLETE THE ELIGIBILITY SCREEN HERE

    1. Notes:

      1. Applicants must create an account with Start Small Think Big’s online portal to complete the screening 

      2. Applicants will need both 2019 and 2020 business tax filings to determine eligibility

      3. Only businesses that were operational in at least part of 2019 and continue to be operational now are eligible

    2. Don’t forget to indicate how you heard about the program and Start Small Think Big!

       

  2. AFTER COMPLETING THE ELIGIBILITY, YOU WILL IMMEDIATELY RECEIVE AN EMAIL.

    1. If you are ineligible, we encourage you to become a client of Start Small Think Big for other services

    2. If you are eligible, you will receive a link to Calendly which will allow you to schedule a 30-minute slow with one of our staff members

       

  3. FOR ELIGIBLE APPLICANTS: AT YOUR SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT, START SMALL THINK BIG STAFF CAN:

    1. Answer any questions you have about the grant 

    2. Help you fill out the Lendistry application and uploading the required documents

    3. Share their screen and fill out the Lendistry application on your behalf, with your consent.

       

  4. FOR ELIGIBLE APPLICANTS: IF YOU NEED FURTHER ASSISTANCE, YOU CAN BOOK A FOLLOWUP APPOINTMENT VIA THE SAME CALENDLY LINK

     

  5. FOR ELIGIBLE APPLICANTS: AFTER YOUR APPLICATION IS SUBMITTED

    1. You will receive a separate email containing a username and password to the Lendistry Portal.

    2. Use those details to login and upload all required documents as a PDF within 14 days of submitting your application.

    3. Connect your bank details so that your bank statements can be verified and you can set up a direct deposit.
