WHAT LED YOU TO START YOUR BUSINESS?
I started Darker Shade of Ebony because I had an issue with lipsticks and lip balms drying out my lips. I saw the need for lip products that keep lips moist, even after they wear off. I also believe that looking good shouldn’t have to come with a price. My products are handmade with love using natural and healing ingredients.

WHAT MAKES YOUR BUSINESS UNIQUE?
My business is unique because I custom make all of my products for each customer. My products are both natural and fashionable, and use natural ingredients, unlike many of the store-bought lines.
WHAT ARE YOU DOING DIFFERENTLY THIS YEAR TO REACH YOUR CUSTOMERS AND GENERATE SALES?
I designed new, custom products to meet the needs of my customers during these difficult times. I also added email campaigns to promote sales, which has been working great!
