Our business incubation program offers underserved entrepreneurs and small business owners a 3-year holistic business education program, involving customized experiential business training and coaching, certification in business planning, access to markets, industry sector incubation, asset-building support and access to credit.

Working Solutions

Working Solutions CDFI is the First to Believe in start-up and early-stage businesses by providing diverse entrepreneurs with affordable capital, customized business consulting, and community connections to increase economic opportunity in Northern California. Geographical requirement is business must operate in one of the 19 Northern California counties served by Working Solutions: Alameda, Contra Costa, Madera, Marin, Mendocino, Merced, Monterey, Napa, Sacramento, San Benito, San Francisco, San Joaquin, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Santa Cruz, Solano, Sonoma, Stanislaus, & Yolo.

Low Income Investment Fund (LIIF)

LIIF supports sustainable, community-based systems for financing and developing child care facilities through capital investments and capacity building throughout the United States, with a specific focus in California, San Francisco, Washington, DC, New York City and Atlanta. LIIF provides grant and loan capital for facilities development and improvement. In combination with capital, LIIF delivers specialized business support and development, including training and technical assistance on facilities design, development, financing and operations.

Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights of the San Francisco Bay Area (LCCRSF)

The Economic Justice team runs the Legal Services for Entrepreneurs (LSE). Which provides free legal services to low-income individuals who want to start or develop businesses; businesses committed to investing in economically distressed communities, including hiring people with arrest and conviction records; and mom and pop shops located in areas where gentrification is a force for displacement.
