Together they have accumulated some delicious vegan recipes from entrees to desserts, which they sell online and in pop-up markets. They hope to start introducing plant-based health and beauty products as well, and would love to expand into a store front.

Cori owns a small family-based fermentation company that was born out of her own experiences. When she found herself chronically ill with an autoimmune disease and diagnosed with a myriad of medications and intolerable side effects, Cori knew there had to be a better way. Wild fermentation and a deeper understanding of the gut biome held the key, and she is no longer sick. Now passionate about sharing her all-natural, handcrafted gourmet preserves, Cori's goal is to make healthy plant-based ferments that you and your body will crave.

Anthony identified a huge need for authentic and good quality soul food as well as great customer service. With more than 30 years of experience int he food industry, Anthony opened his food business back in 2013. He now operates out of a restaurant and a food truck. Anthony is looking for help with increasing his digital presence as well as to financially plan for his growing business.

Alice & Belinda are two best friends that bonded over their mutual love for vegan ice cream. Our ice creams are made with the most premium and natural ingredients like oat milk and unrefined cane sugar. They make all of their cookies, brownies, cakes, sauces, and waffle cones from scratch. Alice and Belinda truly believe that they have the most remarkable plant-based ice cream on the planet. Based out of Hollywood one of their main goals is to open another location.

Kathy runs a bakery from a commercial kitchen specializing in hand-crafted, small batch, artisan rum cakes and mini rum cakes with all natural ingredients and Caribbean inspired flavors. Conducts pop-ups around Brooklyn as a main source of revenue. Ships cakes online and offers local pick-up and delivery. Kathy is looking for capital to open a café/bar storefront in Brooklyn and expand product offerings to be in more specialty food stores.

Rude Gyal's Kitchen

Bria is an East Brooklyn based chef specializing in Caribbean cuisine. Since she was a child, it has been her dream to open a restaurant with her father. She started a solo food business in Delaware. After returning to New York, she continued to sell her food in her neighborhood and seeks to grow her business from catering and special events into a brick and mortar restaurant.

Jeany's Caribbean Elixirs

Naijean started her premium beverage company in Austin, using recipes based on her Grandmother's recipes from Granada. During the pandemic, she decided to pursue her business full time. They offer many unique and bold flavors, all rooted in Caribbean culture. The flavors rotate based on the season since they try to use as many local fruits and vegetables as possible.

We Be Poppin LLC

Tamika is very passionate about her specialty popcorn business, which boasts 26 different (& extremely unique!) flavors, with something for everyone. She just opened her storefront in Michigan, although she ships her popcorn nationally. Her popcorn is all handmade fresh by her, and it is made with love.

Deanya is committed to bringing the best tasting vegan cakes, breads, and pastries. She launched her business after working as a pastry chef for over 10 years. Her goal is to create community with clients and the staff that works for her.
