New Voices Foundation, a 501(c)3 organization, is focused on providing flexible funding, learning and networking opportunities to these entrepreneurs via pitch competitions, mobile accelerators, coaching and mentoring, online masterclasses, and communications outreach via social media, newsletters and other channels.

Washington DC Economic Partnership

The Enterprising Women of Color District, Maryland, Virginia (DMV) Business Center (Center) fosters and supports a small business ecosystem for women of color in the National Capital Region. The Center offers a plethora of business services including financial capital, business advisory services, and networking support. EWOC offers direct funding fit for the entrepreneur’s individual needs & goals, from microloans to emergency funding and financing options. They provide free, individualized consulting services to help NEW and existing business owners develop and grow their business.

The Minnesota Avenue Main Street (MAMS) is an initiative to promote, revitalize, and develop the Minnesota Avenue corridor, one of the largest historic commercial districts located east of the Anacostia River. They offer grant opportunities for Black-owned businesses in Washington, D.C. Wards 7 and 8, 1:1 Business Consultations, Workshops & Events, Business Marketing, and Real Estate Support.

Black Girl Ventures

BGV Connect. The BGV Connect Incubator is dedicated to the Black Girl Ventures' mission to accelerate 100,000 women to economic advancement via community, education, and leadership. The BGV Connect Incubator is for Black/Brown women-identifying entrepreneurs and business leaders who are innovating and dedicated to leveling up their vision, idea, or business. Perks of membership include peer mentoring, business referrals, funding opportunities, networking opportunities, feedback sesssions, etc.

Black Girl Ventures

BGV NextGen. The BGV NextGen Program was created for the next generation of Black and Brown entrepreneurs in mind attending HBCUs nationally. This experience will create access to capital, capacity, and community for student visionaries ranging from 18 to 24 years old.

Change Agent Fellowship. The Change Agent Fellowship by BGV is a totally unique 9-month leadership skills development program created specifically to expand the capacity of early-stage entrepreneurs and ecosystem builders to strengthen the ecosystems of Black/Brown women founders!

National Community Reinvestment Coalition (NCRC)

NCRC provides loans that customers may use for financing that includes: working capital, inventory, real estate, leasehold improvements, machinery and equipment, furniture and fixtures, vehicles, or purchase of a business or business franchise. The NCRC Community Development Fund’s mission is to work with community partners – and target our capital – to build wealth, and reduce poverty and unemployment, in LMI, Black, and Hispanic communities nationwide.
