Michelle and her husband started their business in 2015, with a collective 37 years of teaching experience between them. Their business provides educational services to students, families, teachers, schools, and is often contracted through Government Agencies to support special education needs in New York City schools. People come to her looking for someone who is going to be dependable, knows what they're doing, cares about their child. She is passionate about education, loves children and being in classrooms.

Lateefa (Genie) is the owner of a podcast and programmatic services catered to parents of color, with special needs children. She empowers parents to navigate a school system that often works against these exceptional children, and offers personalized "blueprints" for their child's educational success. She hopes to create a website that increases brand awareness and expertise, and builds easily-accessible content for the community. Beyond working with individual parents, she aims to collaborate with government and corporate partners in the near future.

Kyla is a queer woman with a masters in mathematics and is working to not only tutor, but provide mentorship to children in the Bay Area. They have years of experience sharing their love of math and helping folks to become more confident problem solvers and critical thinkers.

Juliana Wong

Juliana (Juju) is an educational consultant helping both students and schools with the college admissions process. In addition to 1-1 consulting, Juju has created curriculums to assist first-generation, immigrant, and BIPOC communities apply to college. Her programming is scalable and community-oriented, compared to other more competitive college admissions programs. Juju hopes to hone in on her most lucrative services and being contracted by other schools / educational programs to create curriculum + inclusive programming.

How Can I?

Darnell is the founder of an after-school curriculum targeted towards NYC public schools. Growing up in the NYC Public School system, Darnell saw how the lack of resources and messaging in the public schools prevented children from growing. Darnell wanted to create a culturally relevant curriculum where kids can discover new creative paths and gain inspiration from professionals who were once in their shoes. Darnell currently offers this program to 15 NYC public schools, and wants to keep growing.

Chris is an instructional designer and ed-tech specialist who focuses on properly integrating STEM/STEAM education for neuro-diverse students. He has since expanded his mission to the inclusion of media literacy, video game literacy, training parents, and providing free materials for those who wish to adopt an inclusive learning lifestyle when it comes to educational technology. Chris currently works directly with schools as well as with individual students.

Michelle creates digital resources for the classroom that teachers can download to save themselves time and to focus on the joy of teaching that brought them to the profession. The resources she puts together range from reading and math guides to printable games, and her most recent addition has been 360° Digital Escape Rooms. Michelle's home life was rough when she was young and she felt like school was a place she could excel, so she now wants to share that experience with everyone, including her adopted son.

Emily and Taneesha provide professional development and consulting services to school districts globally, as well as to corporations and small businesses. Their trainings include trauma-informed practices, mental health awareness, and culturally responsive teaching and learning. Both Emily and Taneesha were educators and collectively have over 30 years of teaching experience, so they know first hand how valuable the conversations they are starting can be in the workplace.
